Eliya Cohen is a cinematographer, photographer and artist, working mainly across drama and documentary film, video art installation, photography and music videos.

Most recently, Eliya graduated (2017) from the Australian Film Television and Radio School, with post graduate studies in Cinematography. In 2014 she graduated with a Bachelor of Visual Arts with 1st class honours from Sydney College of the Arts.  And in 2015, she was selected to exhibit her video installation ‘Love Eyes’ in Hatched: National Graduate Show (2015) at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Art, and in Emerging (2015) at the Gosford Regional Gallery. In 2011 she studied at the Rhode Island School of Design, and in 2012 she worked for artist and photographer Ryan McGinley in New York City. Eliya has exhibited in solo and group shows throughout Australia and Internationally.



Currently lives in Hobart, Tasmania. 
Eliya is available for commercial and commissioned work. She works as a freelance cinematographer and photographer for a broad range of clients.
